I've been training horses and teaching riders since 2000. During my years of working with horses I've been fortunate enough to have been involved in breeding (mostly AI), imprinting and raising foals, training green horses as well as schooling well-trained horses. My show experience includes eventing and dressage. I currently board horses at my home and train my own horses. Mercedes Belle is a Holsteiner mare who, despite her blindness is still able to compete in dressage. My mustang gelding, Jack, is my eventer. I also continue to gain experience and find new ways of doing things as I travel to other barns to train and instruct.

My other areas of expertise are cats and plants.

I've owned and raised cats for twenty years. The cats I've raised have been cast offs needing bottle feeding as well as caring for abandoned moms and kittens. I don't breed cats; I feel there are enough of them to go around right now! I had the wonderful opportunity to work as a veterinary assistant for two years. I used this time to learn as much as I could medically about cats, dogs and exotic animals.

I have three years education in the growing of house and garden plants. I currently have a house packed with common plants and beautifully flowering orchids. My outdoor garden includes lots of young trees and perennials.

Between work, family and hobbies I keep quite busy. It's not a bad thing, I always get a goon night's sleep!
